Your photos are yours. We don't want them.

This policy covers the Modelesk website at www.modelesk.com and the Modelesk mobile app for iOS and Android. The app is still in development; this page describes how it is built to behave and will be updated before release if anything changes.

Who is responsible

Modelesk B.V., established in the Netherlands, is the controller for the personal data described here. Questions and requests go to hello@modelesk.com.

Your photos

Modelesk coaches a live camera. Reading the frame to produce posing, framing and lighting cues happens on your device, and the photos it captures are written to your camera roll. We do not upload your photos or camera feed to our servers, and we do not use them to train models.

If a future feature ever needs to send an image off the device, it will be opt-in, described plainly at the moment you turn it on, and documented here first.

What we do collect

• Your email address, if you join the Front Row list. Used to tell you when the beta opens and nothing else. Every message carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes the record.
• What you write to us, when you email support. Kept as long as needed to resolve the conversation.
• Basic app diagnostics, such as crash reports and anonymous usage counts, to find bugs. These are not tied to your photos and, where the platform allows, you can turn them off in your device settings.

The website

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are served from the site itself rather than a third-party CDN, so loading a page does not announce your visit to anyone else.

Legal basis

• Consent — the Front Row list. You opt in and can opt out at any time.
• Legitimate interest — keeping the app working and secure, and answering the support mail you send us.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We use a small number of processors — hosting, email delivery, crash reporting — who act only on our instructions and may not use the data for their own purposes. Where data is processed outside the EEA, it is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep things

• Front Row email addresses: until you unsubscribe.
• Support email: up to 24 months after the conversation ends.
• Diagnostics: up to 12 months, then deleted.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Email hello@modelesk.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Children

Modelesk is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date below changes with it. Material changes will be announced to the Front Row list before they take effect.
